Eleonora Aldegheri 

the founder/artistic director/choreographer/teacher

Eleonora Aldegheri (Ellie) was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She began her training in ballet at the age of six and graduated as a Professor of Ballet from the Institute Adrienne. She trained in Argentine Tango at Cafe Tortoni, took acting classes with Norman Briski, and studied modern art with Susana Tambutti. In New York City, Eleonora studied and trained extensively at Broadway Dance Center, Peridance, Steps and Alvin Ailey with many accomplished teachers and choreographers.

Eleonora collaborated and assisted choreographing for many dance shows in Buenos Aires. She continued to work in Oxford where she had the opportunity to choreograph for Tomahawk Productions and for awarded South African pop singer, Jerusha Naidoo. She taught Ballet, Jazz and Latin Dance in many venues throughout Oxford. Her Rock Challenge choreography was awarded Best Original Choreography in 2008. In New York City, Eleonora had the honour of performing at Carnegie Hall, the most prestigious concert stage in the United States. She has had the privilege to perform on several occasions at Symphony Space, Peridance Capezio Dance Center, Peridance Salvatore Theater and the Brooklyn Dance Festival. She has also performed in Astoria Dance Festival, Brooklyn and Manhattan Beach. Throughout her career, Eleonora has had the honour to perform alongside many talented artists.


Ellie has had the privilege to dance and teach professionally, and has taught in education and community settings to all ages and abilities. Her aim is to deliver an atmosphere of creation and inspiration in her rehearsals, classes and workshops, to motivate participants to be the best that they can be and enjoy the process.


In addition to choreographing and directing LDP for performances in Oxford, London and abroad, Ellie is a freelance professional and teaches her regular dance, yoga and Pilates classes at Arts at OFS, Cornerstone, Wychwood school and other dance institutions. She is also a guest teacher in London, Argentina and Switzerland.
